I currently serve on the NCCS Board as a Director at Large and am completing my second term in this position.   My board job is chapter expansion and chapter relations.  I also serve on the finance and budget committees.  Previously I served on the NCCS board from 1988 to 2000 as Treasurer, Vice President, President (1994-96) and advisor.    I joined the Detroit chapter in 1965 and after serving in several board positions became President from 1978-1980.  Still an active member of Detroit, I now serve on its Board of Directors as NCCS liaison and the finance committee. 

Within my community I have chaired or served as president of parish councils, school boards and long range planning committees.  I currently serve on my parish finance commission and the strategic planning steering committee.  Educated at Marquette University as an elementary school teacher, I have spent many years in the classroom, most of them as a volunteer.  I owned and operated a shop, Attic and Old Lace, in Metamora MI handling antiques, collectibles and gifts.  I am the mother of 5 children and grandmother of 12.  I enjoy traveling, gardening, knitting and bridge.
