I
am currently serving as Treasurer of the National Christ
Child Society. I served on the NCCS Board from 1998 to 2006
as Newsletter Editor, Vice President of Expansion, Chapter
Services, and Planning. I also serve on the Canonization
Advisory Board where my primary responsibility was
developing the DVD on the life of Mary Virginia Merrick.
I have been a member of Christ Child Society of Detroit for
over 25 years and have
served in a variety of Board positions including Chapter
President and Chairman of the House Advisory Council for CCS
of Detroit.
In addition to my commitment to the Christ Child Society, I
have worked as an elementary school teacher in the Chicago
public schools and as an event planner for a large travel
business. Currently I am a partner in a small business that
manufactures and markets evening bags. I have been involved
in my
children’s schools and my parish, St. Thomas More, where I
served as Parish Council President. I have three adult
children and two grandchildren and consider myself blessed
with great friends and a rich life.
