It is a great pleasure and joy to be your
NCCS President and I am proud to serve
with the talented and dedicated Board of
Directors that has been elected to serve
along with me. Each member of the Board
is “on loan” to the National
organization from their Chapters for the
next two years. Each one of them will
go back to their Chapters after spending
many hours working for all the Chapters
of NCCS. Now, together as a National
Board, we face the challenge of
continuing to carry forward into the
future the values and mission of Mary
Virginia Merrick while remembering and
learning from the history of the
organization.
A strong network of Chapters does not
just happen. It is the result of a
collaborative effort on the part of all
to make sure that the mission that
inspired our members over 121 years ago
continues within the Chapters of today
as they carry the message of the theme
of our last National Convention,
Together in His Name: Serving, Sharing
and Supporting.
